To ensure our app continues to be the most comprehensive database of FODMAP food ratings, we are working to ensure the traffic light information for all foods in the app are up-to-date.

This involves going through each category of foods and comparing what is currently being shown in the app against the figures in our database. This will allow us to ensure the serving sizes are accurate as well as including any missing traffic lights.

We will continue to update this blog as new updates are released.


UPDATE: July 23, 2024

We have now completed our review of the ‘vegetable’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights where we can.

For vegetables that contain fructose, we have also reviewed the cut-off used for these and changed how they are rated. We have a full explanation of what this means and what impact it has in our new blog monashfodmap.com/blog/fructose-changes-vegetables/
