To ensure our app continues to be the most comprehensive database of FODMAP food ratings, we are working to ensure the traffic light information for all foods in the app are up-to-date.

This involves going through each category of foods and comparing what is currently being shown in the app against the figures in our database. This will allow us to ensure the serving sizes are accurate as well as including any missing traffic lights.

We will continue to update this blog as new updates are released.


UPDATE: June 5, 2026

CONFECTIONERY & SUGARS, DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS

We have now completed our review of the ‘Confectionery & Sugars’ and 'Dietary Supplements' categories. This means we have added any missing traffic lights where possible.

CONDIMENTS

We have now completed our review of the ‘Condiments’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights where possible.


UPDATE: December 10, 2025

SNACKS, BARS & COOKIES

We have now completed our review of the ‘Snacks, Bards & Cookies’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights where possible.


UPDATE: October 16, 2025

BEVERAGES

We have now completed our review of the ‘Beverages’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights where possible.

These updates are now available within the app.


UPDATE: September 12, 2025

MEAT, FISH, EGGS

We have now completed our review of the ‘Meat, Fish, Eggs’ category. The key update is that the descriptive statements within the listings were updated to better reflect limits.

FATS & OILS

We have now completed our review of the ‘Fats & Oils’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights and serving size information. Primarily, the descriptive statements within the listings were updated to better reflect limits.

PULSES, TOFU, NUTS

We have now completed our review of the ‘Pulses, Tofu, Nuts’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights and serving size information. These updates are now available within the app.

DAIRY, SOY & LACTOSE FREE

We have now completed our review of the ‘Dairy, Soy & Lactose Free’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights and serving size information. These updates are now available within the app.

BREAD, CEREALS, RICE, PASTA

We have now completed our review of the ‘Bread, Cereals, Rice, Pasta’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights and serving size information. These updates are now available within the app.


UPDATE: July 23, 2024

VEGETABLES

We have now completed our review of the ‘vegetable’ category. This means we have added any missing traffic lights and serving size information.

We have completed our review of the 'fruit' category within the food guide and added any missing traffic lights and serving size information. These updates are now available within the app.
