Researchers at Monash University are seeking participants for a study looking at the effect of dietary fibre on symptoms of long COVID.

Background

Long COVID affects ~5-10% of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). People with Long COVID may experience a range of symptoms. These may be tiredness (fatigue), brain fog and problems with the immune system.

New research suggests diet may help to relieve symptoms of long COVID, by altering gut bacteria and the immune system.

This research project will investigate:

  1. Whether a high fibre diet affects symptoms of long COVID?
