The Monash FODMAP diet app can be easily updated in two ways, namely:

Since the introduction of our Monash University FODMAP Diet app, we have been committed to expanding the number of FODMAP tested foods for our app users. We also retest foods regularly, as we know FODMAP composition can change depending on a number of factors, so it’s important for us to keep you posted!
New data is pushed to the app every 15 days, which includes new foods or updated results of existing foods in the app. However, occasionally the app may not refresh properly so you will need to do this manually
This can be done within our app so there is no need to do this via the App Store/Google Play Store. To run an app refresh update:
This type of update lets us improve the look and functionality of the app for a smoother user experience. You will need to first head to the App Store/Google Play Store on your device. Once you have entered the App Store/Play Store:
You can also simply search for ‘Monash FODMAP’ in either app store and select ‘Update’ when you have located the app.
Don’t worry, we announce app updates on our social media platforms so you know exactly when to run a new data or user interface update! If you are not a social media user, a useful rule of thumb is to clear cache in the app every 15 days and check the App Store/Google Play Store every now and then.
