Pumpkin Spiced Latte

This sweet and spiced drink is the perfect fall/autumn drink and is so easy to make yourself at home! For those in the southern hemisphere who may not be familiar with this lovely drink, we definitely recommend giving it a go!

 
ingredients

1 tsp pure maple syrup

1 tsp canned pumpkin (or pureed pumpkin)

1 shot coffee or espresso

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp cloves

1 cup reduced-fat lactose-free milk (or your preferred choice of low FODMAP milk)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients, except for the milk into a glass and stir well to combine. 

  2. Warm up your milk, either on the stove or using a coffee machine. Pour into your glass and mix ingredient well. Serve immediately.  


Hints

  • For those who don't have access to canned pumpkin, pureed pumpkin works just as well. 
  • Pumpkin pie spice may readily available and can be used as an alternative to using each individual spice.
