A delicious Japanese inspired recipe

Pork mince (ground pork) |

1 tsp 1 tsp dried red chilli, sliced |

1 tsp 1 tsp minced ginger |

[A] 1 tbsp [A] 1 tbsp sesame seeds |

[A] 3 tbsp [A] 3 tbsp sake (Japanese rice wine) |

[A] 1 tbsp [A] 1 tbsp miso paste |
|
[A] 2 tsp [A] 2 tsp white sugar |
|
[A] 1 tsp [A] 1 tsp soy sauce |
|
[A] 4 tsp [A] 4 tsp water |

2 tsp 2 tsp rice bran oil |
|
1 tsp 1 tsp potato starch |

Peel the turnips, leaving a small portion of the stems intact, and cut them into 6 wedges.
Heat rice bran oil in a frying pan, and cook the turnips until they develop a golden-brown color. Remove them and place them on a plate.
In the same frying pan, add the ground pork and stir-fry. Then add the chili pepper, ginger, and ingredients from [A], mixing well. Finally, add potato starch dissolved in water to thicken the sauce.
Pour the mixture from Step 3 over the turnips from Step 2. Serve and enjoy!
